Kids who are active in school sports and adventure activities are fitter, have healthier body weights and are more confident. The risk of blood pressure, heart disease, osteoporosis and other chronic diseases is lower among physically active people, which makes it all the more important for children to appreciate the importance of physical activity at a young age.
Team sports help teach accountability, dedication, leadership and other skills.
Different age appropriate physical activities nurtures the skills of the child, Preschoolers need to master their gross motor skills and eye hand coordination. They develop confidence in their abilities. They are mastering skills such as run, jump, throw, hop, twirl, leap, gallop,etc. They love creating obstacle courses to move through, tunnels to crawl through & climbing equipments.
Kindergarten has its own Central Play Area in pre primary wing which includes playstations, splash pool, sandplay area, sensory paths etc. to develop their gross motor skills.
Age 6 onwards children need variety of intensity levels of physical activity to meet their daily needs. Vigorous levels of physical activity are at intensities like a fast walk, jog, run, swim which leads to breathing deeper and faster. At this age there is need to play games that incorporate strength, co ordination & confidence like relay races, kicking, throwing, dribbling, catching, etc for large muscle and motor skill development.
The play fields are divided into four zones based on the age group, the kind of sports activities which can take place according to the season around the year:
Zone 1: Includes Skating Rink, Volleyball Court, Jungle Trail & Playstation.
Zone 2: Football ground, Athletics and Cricket nets.
Zone 3: Tennis and Basketball.
Indoor Sports Hall
Indoor sports hall to have various indoor sports activities for all age groups.
We have a 10000 sq. ft. of Atrium which can be used for soft indoor sports activities during the harsh weather.
